Meizu PRO 6 Is Official With 4GB Of RAM, Metal Body

Meizu launches the new PRO 6. The company had launched the PRO 5 only last September so this is a significant change in the release-schedule of the PRO series as we see the new unit come a mere 7 months after its predecessor. The "Pro" series initially debuted with the MX4Pro which we reviewed last year, since then Meizu has dropped the MX name to better differentiate between the "premium" PRO models and the more mainstream MX lineup. The PRO 6 in some ways continues where the PRO 5 left off, but at the same time makes some larger changes in terms of form-factor and component choices.
The PRO 6 is quite a strange successor as at first glance the upgrades aren't quite evident. The PRO 6 replaces the traditional Samsung LSI Exynos SoCs with MediaTek's Helio X25. The X25 is exclusive to the PRO 6 and essentially is an X20 with the dual-core A72 cluster clocked in at 2.5GHz instead of 2.3GHz. The three-cluster design also features a quad-core A53 at 2.0GHz as well as a low-power A53 quad-core at 1.4GHz. On the GPU side we see a Mali T880MP4 at 850MHz. Main memory is 4GB of LPDDR3 running at 933MHz.
The SoC choice puts the PRO 6 in a weird position when compared to the PRO 5 as except for single-thread performance the X25 should theoretically represent a downgrade compared to the Exynos 7420 in last year's model. It's especially in terms of power efficiency where this raises question as we move from a 14nm FinFET design back to a 20nm planar manufacturing process, so I hope that Meizu's SoC choice doesn't negatively impact power efficiency of the phone.
In terms of design the PRO 6 doesn't differ too much from the PRO 5, that is until one takes into account the form-factor of the new model. On the front we see very little distiguishable differences - except for the fact that Meizu downgraded the screen size from 5.7" down to 5.2" marking a departure from the larger "phablet" size. The display panel remains a 1080p AMOLED sourced by Samsung Display.
A first for Meizu is now the inclusion of a pressure sensitive touchscreen module which Meizu calls 3D Press. As we've seen in Apple's latest iPhones or even Huawei's implementation on the Mate S, this is a hardware feature that will undoubtedly depend on the software framework and applications to expose and take advantage of the new functionality. Meizu here might have some better lee-way in terms of Android customization when compared to other vendors who have to adhere to Google's CTS requirements, so it will be interesting to see what Meizu was able to come up with in the latest FlyMe 5.6 OS.
The reduction in size also has an impact on the integrated battery's capacity as we move from a 3050mAh cell down to a 2560mAh unit. Oddly enough, the device only loses 8g and remains relatively heavy for a 5.2" device, coming at 160g.
The main camera remains unchanged from the PRO 5, we find the same 21.16MP Sony IMX230 module featuring both PDAF as well as Laser auto-focus. We see a downgrade in the optics as the PRO 6 features an aperture of F/2.2 compared to the PRO 5's F/2.0 lens. The front-facing camera remains a 5MP unit with 1.4µm pixels.

HTC 10 Good Specification with Nice Design

HTC has launched its flagship smartphone for 2016, the simply-named 10. The 10 has a familiar design with virtually everything upgraded, including a change in direction for HTC's software. The Verge's Dan Seifert takes a first look at the new device. Update: the HTC 10 has an expected two days of battery life, not two hours.
Some video hands on

The 10 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM that we've seen in a handful of high-end Android phones already this year, and there is 32GB of internal storage plus a MicroSD slot for expansion. HTC says it has optimized the 10's software and hardware for faster touch response and the new phone is 50 percent more responsive than its predecessor. The 10's battery measures 3,000mAh, which HTC says is good for up to two days of life thanks to software and hardware optimizations, and supports Quick Charge 3.0 through the phone’s USB Type-C port.
The design of the 10 is similar to both the M9 and A9, and is best described as a blend of the two. It has HTC's signature all-aluminum construction, with large chamfered edges and machined ports. Below the display is a fingerprint scanner flanked by two capacitive buttons for back and recent apps — a departure from the on-screen buttons HTC has used on its flagships for the past couple of years. The phone itself is nice to look at and certainly not ugly in any way, but it's not a hugely groundbreaking design. At least it doesn't look like an iPhone.

Meizu M3 Note launched!! More Detailed Specs Here

Meizu Official have launched Their 2016 first New phone-- Meizu M3 Note in Beijing, here are the specs they released for their latest budget phone.
Meizu M3 Note has become the first ‘M’ phone from Meizu that has a metal body, which makes the M3 Note a close competitor to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, the latest Lenovo phones and even Meizu’s own Meizu Metal phone.
The metal body has the same look as other current metal Meizu phones (MX5, Pro 5, Meizu Metal) but the body does appear much slimmer than previous phones and the volume and power buttons are now located in a groove on the side of the phone making them appear more flush to the body.
Meizu have used a 13 mega-pixel camera on the rear of the Meizu M3 Note and have managed to keep the camera flush with the body even with the inclusion of a much larger 4100mAh built in battery.
A tray in the side of the Meizu M3 Note can accept either dual SIM cards or a single SIM and 128GB SD card. Network support is ‘full netcom’ meaning it will work on all Chinese networks. The phone also supports VOLTE.
As seen on previous Meizu phones, the M3 Note will come in a dark grey with black face or gold colour with white face around the 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 display.
Below the display is Meizu’s Touch 2.1, a physical home button with integrated fingerprint scanner. Above the screen on the forehead of the phone is a 5 mega-pixel selfie camera.
The guts of the Meizu M3 Note include 3GB RAM + 32GB eMMC 5.1 memory if you opt for the high-end version or 2GB + 16GB for the entry-level version.
Both versions of the phone run an 8 core 1.8Ghz Helio P10 chipset with Mali T860 GPU.

The first Smartphone equipped with the 2nd Generation of the Iris Recognition Technology – the HOMTOM HT10

Just open your eyes, glimpse at the screen, and then unlock your HOMTOM 10Easily!

So what is the iris recognition technology? What are the characters and functions? What are the improvements compared to last generation?

About Iris recognition technology
Iris recognition, as a biological authentication systemuses the pattern of the iris of the human eyes. It takes four steps: Iris image acquisition, image preprocessing, feature extraction and feature matching. The Iris recognition technology in Smartphone requires the front camera to complete the collection of the information. The Iris recognition works on the base of recognition to the iris of outside annular pupil collected with infrared. Under the normal circumstancesdue to its own uniqueness, the accuracy of iris recognition is higher than that of the white of the eyes.
The characteristics of the iris
Iris recognition distinguishes people’s identity based on the iris and it is mainly used in security equipments or in those highly confidential places. Iris contains many intertwined spots, filaments, coronal, stripes, crypts and other detailed features. After two years old, the iris will hardly change. Susing the iris as the password will have a better sense of "long-term safety." These characteristics determine the uniqueness of the iris, and also the uniqueness to recognize the identity. Therefore, we add the iris recognition technology to HOMTOM phones to better protect your personal information.
The second generation of the iris recognition technology
The HOMTOM HT10 will use the second generation of the iris recognition technology. So what are the more advanced features in the new generation? It scans your iris in unlocking the phone within a second, faster than ever. Also it improves the sensitivity in a dark environment experience. Now you can unlock your phone at night or low light indoors. In addition, the iris recognition technology can be added to encryption programs. Your programs and information will be more secure, and you never get nervous for the moment when you forget the password.

The HOMTOM HT10 will come out on market with the second generation iris recognition technology to unlock the phone. Compared with fingerprint or TouchID, the iris recognition can be more convenient in different environments. For example, cold day make it uncomfortable for you to take off the gloves to unlock your phone by fingerprint, or after finishing work out, sweat causes your phone incapable of reading your touch ID. But all of these awkward occasions can easily be avoided with the iris recognition. Please take a relaxing look at the screen and unlock your phone. Moreover, it is safer than the Touch ID.

ULEFONE FUTURE Helio P10 3GB First Look!

ULEFONE FUTURE The First Bezel-Less Phone,  many customer are quite looking forward its release. Today we will  share some test result with you all.

1. Ulefone Future 3GB Prototype Gets 51,000 Points on Antutu

Ulefone Future will pack 4GB RAM told by the Official. Yesterday we installed the Antutu Benchmark on one of them and to our surprise the 3GB Future scored  as high as 51,000 points. Predictably, the final 4GB version will get higher score.

Though the Antutu score does not necessarily reflect the performance of Ulefone Future, you can see how strong the MTK6755, or Helio P10, chipset is. The 2GHz clock speed is obviously superior to the 1.7GHz of MTK6752 that were popular last year. Besides, the P10’s MALI T860 GPU also has a 20% leap over the 6752’s MALI T760. Ulefone has always been devoted to smoother performance and that’s why we have insisted on 1080P display for the Future instead of pursuing the eye-catching 2K resolution. Anyway, the best phone is no doubt the best balanced.

2. Ulefone Future Metal Unibody

The metal body was actually a whole piece of aluminum titanium alloy ingot which have been cut to what you see now by a computer numerical control (CNC) cutting machine. It is complicated technique but it will offer some some  experiences that casting technique can’t do. First of all, by cutting, the back cover can greatly preserve the fine texture of original metal and therefore deliver a premium feel to both your eyes and palm. Second, CNC machine can make a very thin piece out of metal slab so as to reduce the thinkness and weight of your phone. And finally, CNC-cut metal unibody has a very solid stucture which will defuse most of the force when your phone hits the floor.

The plastic line on the back cover is actually where the openings for signals are covered. We have adopted the nano injection molding process to make sure the plastic material fully and evenly filled into the grooves of the metal slab.

3.Bezel-less Ulefone Future Vs. 3D Samsung S7 Edge

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is no doubt the most remarkable android smartphone these days partly for its 3D display, while as you know, Ulefone will release a bezel-less 2.5D device Ulefone Future. And you may wonder how it feels like if we put the 2 devices together.

Besides the display,  Ulefone Future will also have the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 2GHz Helip P10 chipset, 4GB huge RAM, 16MP Smasung 3p3 camera, and gyroscope which will support VR functions.

By the way, though we can’t release the Future immediately, you can make pre-sale order from AntElife later
