TIPS TO KNOW IF THE PHONE CAN WORK WITH NETWORK FREQUENCY OF YOUR COUNTRY

As we know, there are many different network frequencies in the world. Even in the same country, frequency of different carrier will be different. And most of our phones are unlocked on our website.

Here is the guide to check that if network bands of the smartphone which you’re going to buy match your country and your carrier.
There’re two ways for you to check the network coverage.

Method 1.
(a) Go to this website http://www.willmyphonework.net/ before you order.
(b) On this site, you can you can see brand and country box. Select the brand of the phone you’re going to buy. Then phone model box will come up and please select the right model.

(c) Some smartphones will have different sub model. If the sub model box comes up, you can select the 

right one or just select “ALL” if it doesn’t have sub model.

(d) Select the country/area which you will use the phone. For example, choose United Kingdom.

(e) You will see Carriers list in the next box. Find your network carrier or provider.

(f)Click “Search”. The network result will come up. It will tell you if the phone will be compatible with 2G,3G,4G networks of this carrier in your country. Also you will see the network bands in this page. You can take this result as reference.

Method 2

Sometimes we haven’t found the phone model in the Method 1 page. Here is another way to check whether a specific smartphone can be used in your country.

(a) You should find the network frequencies of the phone on the product page. For example:

(b) Next you should confirm if your country supports the network frequencies that were listed in the page of the phone you’re going to buy.

You can confirm this by visiting the following website:

On this site you can see the search box on the Top:

(c) Type in your country/area in the first field and select your network carrier in the second field. For example, when we choose United Kingdom:

(d) We will get a list of carriers, for this example we will select: Telefónica UK Limited (O2 (UK)) with 3G 2100. This will display its network coverage and the network information.

(e) Besides the above steps, you can directly go to the homepage of this website:

Just quickly select your country on the bottom the page. It will show all the network frequencies which are supported by different carriers in your country.

(f) Now you can compare the bands of the phone you’re going to order with the network frequencies and coverage in your country or area to see if they are matched.

UMi Z became the world's first smartphone based on Helio X27 processor

UMi’s latest high-end smartphone is the Z, and the company has gone to great lengths to make the phone as impressive and premium as possible, all while not going into flagship-price territory. That’s one of the things we like most about UMi–their devices offer really great features and specs at low prices.

When it comes to the specs, the UMI Z packs the Helio X27 Deca-Core CPU clocked at 2.6GHz, the top tier of the X20 family. This SoC is available exclusively for LeEco (Chinese market) and UMi (Global market) at launch.

The processor uses the Tri-Cluster CPU architecture which allows the CPU to activate the most powerful cores only when necessary, while using the more energy-saving ones for simpler tasks. This is a good solution for having power when needed and reduced energy consumption when we use the phone lightly.

The battery is a 3780mAh unit and is made by Sony. Why not go for 4000mAh, which has been the battery capacity of most recent UMi phones like the Super and the Plus/E? According to the company, this slightly smaller unit allows a better optimized internal space and dimensions, and reduced body weight. Moreover, since the X27 has the tri-cluster technology for optimizing power consumption, overall battery duration is better than many 4000mAh phones in the market. And with PE+ fast-charging, it doesn’t take long to power up the phone.

For the Z, UMi had more room for internal components which allows for better thermal management. A lot of processes and state-of-art machines were used to craft the premium body.

For cameras, UMi Z equipped the same 13mpx Camera with Samsung S5K3L8 sensor both on the front and the back of the phone. You can always take high quality selfies thanks to the great sensor, even in low light. The rear camera has PDAF and Laser stabilization so you won’t have to worry about blurry pictures. Focus is immediate and noise is reduced also thanks to the latest Mediatek ISP technologies. With four LEDs used in the flash lamp, the scene will always be bright with natural colors, allowing nice photos taken in various light condition.

The UMi Z includes the premium NXP TFA9890 speaker driver IC, which enables 9.5V boost voltage from an integrated DC/DC converter. Increasing the voltage headroom in the audio driver IC prevents amplifier clipping and keeps sound quality high at maximum volume.

The 5.5″ FHD display manufactured by Sharp is a high color-saturation 95% NTSC gamut unit with 17% better overall color saturation for a richer viewing experience. The display is protected by Dragontrail glass.

 Even in the detail, Apollo is well-designed. The whole body including the SIM card slot is firmly colored via 2 times of Anodizing process. And there is an anti-glare filter and CD pattern in the camera area. And the dual tone flash, fingerprint sensor and volume keys are all processed via CNC cutting. From those details, we can see that Vernee designers attaches great importance to the appearance and industrial design of this model.

        In fact it’s very hard to make a perfect product priced at 299USD range. How to balance the design and performance is a big question for most phone makers. However, Vernee seems to offer a great answer to this question, which is enough to show its honesty towards its users.

New UMi Z Likely to be First Phone with MediaTek X27

UMI Z should be the Last Flashship of UMI Brand Phone in 2016 as the UMI Official tell us that they are gonna to release the new phone UMI Z in the end of Dec.

Days ago, Mediatek unveil some new chipsets into the Helio family-new X23 and X27. And We have received information from a credible tipster that UMi will be among the first, if not the first, OEM to release a phone with the recently-announced MediaTek X27 CPU.

UMI Official tell that UMi Z will have 4GB of RAM (which frankly surprises us a bit considering their latest phone, the UMi Plus E, has 6GB of RAM), as well as 32GB of storage space and a 3780mAh battery. The battery size reduction (compared to 4,000mAh found on several recent UMi devices) tells us that UMi is focusing a bit more on design with the Z in order to have thinner profile. The UMi Super, Plus, and Plus E are all pretty thick thanks to the huge battery, so it looks like they’re backtracking on that a bit with the Z.

We also received a photo of the UMi Z which shows a design on the front similar to previous UMi devices, with a back design that is new to accommodate the dual-camera system.
